I’m Tanmay from India

Hi there,

I am a digital nomad planning to travel to Southeast Asia from September to as long as possible !

Little about me : I was born in India, did most of my schooling there, went to Singapore for my undergrads and have been working as an business analyst since then. I take breaks and try to travel every year as much as I can.

I am open to all kinds of cultures, therefore zero barriers for food, clothing and other aspects of lifestyle. I believe making the other person comfortable and able to gel easily is the only quality required to be a great solo traveler and I hope to be able to develop that in my travels.

Interests

Latin dancing has been my passion since years. I have been dancing Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba mainly. I love going to the dance socials across different cities and cultures. Other than that I enjoy reading, playing guitar, writing, trekking, and also sometimes reflecting about things. The main thing I learn since I travelled for the first time is that I should keep my head open, there's too much to see, to much to discover, to much to know, too many different ways of seeing, and actually that's what interests me the most. I'm able to help in any task required, I'm not afraid and I'm commited and respectful. I can also help with gardening, landscaping, building, general hand, or even with photography, marketing, administration or whatever I am capable of. Lastly I have been designing websites for about 5 years now. So you might find me sipping my Margarita on a beach in Thailand, enjoying the sun and working on a million dollar startup's website !

Travel style

I like to work and travel but totally depends on the time and place and yeah the vibe of the place. I prefer staying in hostels but wouldn't mind a homestay if the situation demands. I like to have a routine (which I know is very difficult and inversely proportional to the amount of partying one does). But yeah I try to take out time to work out. I believe, eating good, doing some exercise and a good 7 hour sleep is enough to travel all your life and I try to stick to these principles.
