Exploring Northern Italy (Tuscany, Venezia)

I wish to explore two particular regions in (what may be called) Northern Italy - Venezia (which is by all account in the North) AND Tuscany, one of the places I have yet to visit. I am flexible about Venezia (and Venice, of course) whether or not we would visit it, but I am NOT flexible about Tuscany :) So, yes, Tuscany is actually, more or less, the primary goal of this trip ...
