During this 2-day hike to Mount Toubkal in the High Atlas, you will climb Jebel Toubkal, which is the highest peak in North Africa. This Trek starts from Marrakech to the village of Imlil where you will meet our team which is made up of a local guide, mule drivers and a cook. After a welcome tea in a lodge, you will start a hike with our guide to Toubkal camp where you will spend the night! During the second day you will climb to the top, after a beautiful view up there, you will descend then return to Imlil, and finally drive back to Marrakech.

Places I want to see: Imlil. Around 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, after a transfer to the small village of Imlil we start our trek. We follow the valley of the Mizane, and after we cross the village of Aremd then on the sanctuary of Sidi chamharouch. crossing the flood plains, our route takes us along mule tracks and into the high rocky cliffs above the valley, Crossing the river we finally arrive at the pastoral sanctuary of Sidi Chamarouch, From there the trail continues to climb regularly, winding and zigzagging up to the snow line and Toukbal refuge (3206m), our stop for the night. About. 4 to 5 hours of walking.
Things I want to do: TOUBKAL An early start to catch the sunrise from the summit of Toubkal, with an ascent of the highest peak in North Africa at 4,167m. Descend via the southern circuit for 2 to 3 hours to return to the Refuge. There, you will have lunch before heading back down to Imlil. A driver will pick you up from here and take you to your accommodation in Marrakech.
