My ideal itinerary would be : First stops : Philadelphia in mid-December, Boston then NYC for the Christmas season and NYE. January would be travelling around the US (Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Arizona (Coyote Buttes North, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Havasu Falls)). Then Latin America in February-March (Mexico (only Yucatan), Brazil during the Carnaval de Rio (mid-February), Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina). Then onto Australia in April (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth), Asia from end of April til July (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, China (the coast), Vietnam, Thailand, India (only to see the Taj Mahal), Bhutan?, Nepal), and finally in August the Middle East (Jordan) and Africa (Egypt, Tanzania or Namibia).
