I'm looking for a travel companion to Belgium

I'm planning a very chill trip walking / hitchhiking from the UK to Switzerland via France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. I intend to meet friends I know already along the way, and make new ones! I will be camping in fields / barns using a minimalist tent / tarpaulin (so be ready to sleep outside). We will visit bathrooms in towns and cities to wash and pick up food & water. I will be bringing as little luggage as possible in a light backpack. We will hitchhike where possible. The aim is to spend no money on transport! The trip will not be time-pressured, it takes as long as it takes (within reason). I will want to stop off at interesting places along the way, and to socialise with people in hostels if the mood strikes.
