In the early morning, we took a speedboat from Malé to the island. The sea breeze was humid, the white sand was soft, and we snorkeled to see coral and schools of fish. In the afternoon, we escaped the sun and drank coconut water. At dusk, we watched the sunset turn the sea golden. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The room rate wasn't cheap, but the experience was incredibly therapeutic
