Boracay is not a good place to go diving and the beach is heavily polluted with green algae. You rather go to Apo island in Negros where you can swim with giant turtles, whale sharks, the corals are beautiful. You can get your certification thru Harolds Diving in Dumaguette where you can arrange your diving trip. You can visit Boracay to be seen and party but not for diving or swimming. Stay away from kite surfing in Bogabong beach. That's in the other side of the island. That's where they dump the sewer . There is no sewer treatment in Boracay. Have you heard of Tao Philippines ?
