Hi there, I'm looking for partners to join me on a two weeks trip for exploring Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is an interesting country which is part of the ancient Silk Road and it offers a lot of interesting sites. I'm not a professional guide, so do not expect guiding services. When we travel together as a group we all have equal responsibility to make the trip memorable and to enjoy our time in the best way possible. I travel for pleasure and usually I have some rough plan in my head, but at the ends it may be changed totally as new and better opportunities are discovered enroute. So I usually book accommodation only for the first two days, just to explore are the opportunities on the spot and to make some arrangements for the next days while at the same time explore the place. So the trip is totally flexible on dates (for now) and on the itinerary. I plan to book in advance only the accommodation in Tashkent for the first 2 days, hence I have set price of 60 EUR which is the the average price for two-night stay in budget hotel with breakfast (according to booking). The itinerary which I have given here is just a sample and it can be changed. For example, we can do it in reverse order: from Tashkent we can have a long train ride westwards to the most distant city (Khiva) and then traveling eastwards toward Bukhara and Samarkand on our way back to Tashkent. Traveling between different cities will be with public transport (train), but for some shorter distances we can also using private transfers if they are better option. We will spend 2-3 days in each city (Bukhara, Khiva, Samarkand, Tashkent). I think this will be sufficient to do sightseeing in a more relaxed way. I'm looking forward finding some adventurous travelers who are passionate for exploring this part of Asia. ~ par.
