Road trip Western Canada August/September 2023

I am planning a trip this summer (August/September 2023) in Western Canada. I would love to find a travel buddy to rent a car together and do a road trip through the Rockies with some hiking, maybe kayaking, camping and exploring the nature there. We could either start in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver (open to other suggestions if you have them. I have around 7 to 10 days for my whole time in Western Canada, which can either be used for the whole trip or just a part of it and the rest I will spend in one of the cities
