USA West Coast to East Coast (or route 66)

My plan is to travel the USA from the west coast to the east coast. I prefer to drive parts of the former route 66 but I am open for any other routes aswell. May be also see some national parks along the route. Car or campervan, staying in the wilderness, on campgrounds in motels, airbnb, ... If you like to share costs and fun just send me a message.
