I'm an Iranian traveller coming to Istanbul for the first time this Spring, and would love to find a local host or friend during my time in the city. I will likely plan to arrive the morning of Monday, March 25, then have all of Tuesday and Wednesday to explore, and then exit on the evening of Friday, March 29. I'm flying out of the Istanbul via airplane, and I will not be renting a car during my stay, so I plan to get around largely via taxi/Uber/metro/bus. This will give me 5 days and 4 nights in the city.
