I'm seeking a travel companion to Italy

Greetings Everyone! I'm a 27 year-old senior at a four-year university in California, USA. I will be studying abroad in Florence for my fall semester. I will be available 2-5 days a week to make mini trips across Italy. I was hoping to share that journey with other people who are passionate about travel and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty/meet other people. I'm in a happily committed relationship so the journey would be strictly platonic. I'm fine traveling with males but I would prefer it be in a group setting/as I see fit. I will have a Global Eurorail Pass good for practically any train in Europe but some trains (especially overnight ones) require advanced reservations with only a limited amount of allotted seats for pass holders. I am on a very tight budget, so I would rather spend money on experiences rather than accommodations, so my travel buddy would HAVE to be okay with hostels, Airbnb, and couch surfing. I have set up a separate trip for those that are looking to travel within Europe but outside of Italy, please sign up for that one if you would rather travel with me in surrounding countries. English is my first language. I only know a TINY bit of Italian.
