I like history, I want to go to Rome
12. 6. - 30. 6. 2025 (19 day trip)
Italy
This will be a trip full of history, art and romance. It is not just a quick tour, but a real "dialogue" with an ancient city.

Places I want to see: I will go to Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill in Rome, and Vatican City to visit the smallest country and largest church in the world: St. Peter’s Basilica, admire Michelangelo’s masterpieces "The Creation of Adam" and "The Last Judgment", as well as the Vatican Museum. In the morning, I will drink a cup of espresso in Piazza Navona and feel the pace of life of the locals. I will visit the Trevi Fountain, the wishing fountain, and throw a coin to wish to return to Rome. I will take a rest at the Spanish Steps, admire the golden sunset and enjoy an authentic Italian dinner to feel the strong atmosphere of fireworks.
Things I want to do: I want to learn how to make authentic Italian noodles, hand-rolled noodles + homemade sauce. Italy is one of the birthplaces of wine. I can experience a red wine + cheese + olive oil pairing course, take a set of professional travel photos as a souvenir, visit niche neighborhoods & designer stores, take a walk along the Tiber River in the morning, watch the sun shine on the ancient walls, order an Aperol Spritz in the alley bar in the evening, and watch passers-by. Sit on the steps in front of the church in a daze, watch the pigeons take off and land between the bricks. I'm not sure how many things I want to do, but these things must be completed.
