Upon arriving in Iceland, I was captivated by the desolate yet magnificent landscape. Blue glaciers shimmered in the sunlight, and warm hot springs nurtured an infinite tranquility. I wandered through Thingvellir National Park, part of the Golden Circle. (The park is best known for its geysers, created by geothermal activity. Currently, only Strokkur remains active, erupting every five to eight minutes. Seeing it up close is truly breathtaking!) Gullfoss, fed by the meltwater from Langjökull, Iceland's second-largest glacier, is most breathtaking when it plunges 32 meters into the canyon. Standing by the falls, I felt the powerful wind and the melody of the water.) I felt the power and harmony of nature. Iceland holds so much to discover. A small path around a corner caught my eye, leading me to a hidden waterfall, its gurgling water whispering to me. I sat on a rock, closed my eyes, and savored the tranquility and nature's gifts. The tranquil atmosphere seemed to cleanse my soul. Although I didn't get to see the stunning beauty of the Northern Lights, Iceland, which is almost entirely daytime, also has its own unique charm. When I saw the waterfall, I was completely shocked. That moment made me realize that traveling is not just about appreciating the scenery, but also a journey of the soul.
