Train trip around Switzerland

I have recently become interested in visiting Switzerland, exploring its cities and villages, and taking in the beautiful scenery of its mountains and lakes (and fingers crossed for some snow). I'd like to travel by train between the cities, and on the mountain rack railways and/or panoramic trains in the scenic areas of Switzerland.
