I am planning a 2-month backpacking trip across Southeast Asia, starting in Vietnam and traveling through Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, and Thailand. The trip will be flexible and low-cost, allowing me to adapt my itinerary along the way. I aim to balance exploration with slower moments, experiencing both the dynamic energy of cities and the calm of more rural and natural environments.

Places I want to see: I want to explore the streets of Hanoi and the landscapes of northern Vietnam, followed by the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. In Malaysia, I plan to visit Kuala Lumpur and Penang, then continue to Bali in Indonesia for its mix of culture and nature. In Laos, I will spend time in Luang Prabang, including visits to places like Wat Pa Phon Phao, before continuing to northern Thailand, particularly Chiang Mai and surrounding areas.
Things I want to do: I want to experience local cultures through street food, markets, and everyday life, while also exploring nature such as mountains, rice fields, and waterfalls. The trip will include activities like boat trips, hiking, and visiting temples, alongside periods of rest, reflection, and informal meditation. Overall, the goal is to travel at a flexible pace, meet new people, and immerse myself in the cultures of each country.
