Real Thailand from North to South
20. 7. - 4. 9. 2026 (47 day trip)
Thailand
I have spent 32 years in Thailand running a tour company, until COVID came. I am now going back to think about restarting my business. I will travel the whole of Thailand, looking to see what is still open and what is now closed. I know the Thai prices very well, and as I can speak Thai, you will get everything for less than half price on the trip.
Split costs: Yes
Budget: $1000 - $1500
Type of journey: Beach
Looking for: Mixed group
Meeting before trip: Skype
Languages: English
Accommodation: Homestay
Getting around: Car
First visit: No
Work & Travel: Yes
Itinerary: Flexible
Places I want to see: I will start in Bangkok and go north and south. North to Ayuthya (Temples), Khao Yai (Mountain and national parks), Khanchanaburi (Bridge on the river Kwai), Phetchabum (Hill tribes), Chiang Mai (Temples and camping), Chang Rai (Golden triangle), Pai (original Thai Village in the valley). Then back to Bangkok, going south to Cha Am, Hua Hin and Pran Buri (Beach Resorts), Koh Samui (tourist island), Koh Phangan (Full moon party island), Koh Tao (Scuba diving island). All on the East Coast. Then over to the south coast and Koh Lanta (Island), Krabi (Rock climbing), Phuket (Everything island), Khao Lak (trip to other small islands)
Things I want to do: Visit different Hotels, Resorts, Fun parks, Animal Sanctuaries, Temples, and other places of interest to people who are on holiday or and have arranged tours. I am a single dad since COVID, and I will be travelling with my young 8-year-old son. He has been to 14 countries already and is half Thai. xx
