After two solo trips to Kenya, I would like to share the experience with the right person. I stayed with local families which I contacted beforehand and it was truly amazing. I even built my own house in Watamu right by the sea. It still stands and that is one of the places where we will stay. On Rusinga Island (Lake Victoria), I helped with the construction of a preschool and loved it so much that I went back the following year to continue with the project.
