I’m flexible on the exact itenery but would like to drive from Barcelona to Valencia-Granada (with a possible stop in Alicante) into the Basque Country (Bilbao,Pamplona) and back to Barcelona. I will be renting a car and would expect to split these expenses (around 50e-70e) Accommodation: I’d prefer to stay in small boutique hotels (mid-price range 50-100e per night) and guest houses/nice hostels (4beds max) with a seaside hotel for the NYE night. I also have friends in Pamplona so we might have a room to stay in the Basque Country.
