Hello! I am arriving in New York on the 12th July, planning to rent a car and doing a roadtrip to Los Angeles. (have to be there on the 10th August) Who wants to join? :D

Places I want to see: New York and LA are fixed as my arrival and departure cities; in between I am relatively flexible... would like to experience some hiking/camping in the Appalachians, see the Gran Canyon or Las Vegas...

Things I want to do: Couchsurfing is my preferred mode of traveling to get to know the locals and have some more intensive experience. I am also taking my tent with me and I love nature and hiking around in it. Some mix of big cities, random countryside and breath-taking nature would be perfect.
