Road trip from NYC to Quebec, Cote du Nord, Maine
31. 8. - 8. 9. 2019 (9 day trip)
Canada
I'm a 37 year professional guy from Westchester. I'm planning a weeklong road trip into Northeastern Canada, hopefully making it to Kegashka, Quebec. The tentative itinerary is to leave from NYC area early AM on August 31. We would spend probably 2 nights in Quebec City and from there head east along Highway 138 to Kegashka, stopping at various national parks, scenic points, small villages, whatever we were into. After turning around in Kegashka, we would take a ferry across the St. Lawrence Seaway to New Brunswick and then head into northern Maine. The final stop would probably be a day in the Portland, Maine area, hopefully spending a nice day at one of the local beaches before making it back to NYC on September 7 or 8. I'm hoping to keep costs to under $600 per person for the whole trip minus food, perhaps. I'm a normal, chill person. I'm doing this trip to see a part of this continent that most people don't really think about. If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you! If you speak some French it's a plus, but if you don't, it's no problem!
