Utah - hiking, camping, non-technical canyoneering

Planning to leave Denver on a Friday morning and spend a couple days camping near Moab and Canyonlands. Return Sunday afternoon. Looking to either travel out with someone from the area or meet there. I'm driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee so I have quite a bit of extra space for gear. Base camp and day hikes/exploring. No overnight backpacking on this trip. Maybe grab a nice lunch in Moab either on the way in or way out.

Things I want to do: Hike, check out some slot canyons and box canyons, maybe take a swim in the colorado river or some swim spots outside Moab. Enjoy some good company over a couple beers
