Driving through South Africa

I'd like to do a pretty thorough driving tour of South Africa and maybe Botswana if there’s time. I'd sleep in a variety of places, including safari lodges, campsites, and/or hotels. I like sporty activities, outdoors, cities, culture, and just about anything I haven’t tried yet.
