I’m Farzad from the Netherlands

Hi, I'm Farzad, a documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Amsterdam. I started my journey behind the lens in 1997, discovering that photography was more than a craft, it was a way to express deep emotions and connect with the hidden layers of life.

My work is rooted in storytelling. I capture real human experiences, from joy and resilience to pain and solitude, always searching for meaning in light, shadow, and everyday moments. Photography has taken me across the globe, and my images have been exhibited internationally in places like the University of Maryland (USA), Brindisi Museum (Italy), Venice, England, Canada, France, Greece, Iran, Turkey, Japan, and even the United Nations. I've also been fortunate to receive several international photography awards.

I love discovering new cultures, wandering through local streets, and finding those little details most people overlook. Now, I’m hoping to find a travel buddy who’s into photography, storytelling, and the adventure of exploring places deeply and meaningfully.
