I’m Alex from Tanzania

I am Alex. I was born in Moshi 1997 and grown up in Arusha, Tanzania.

During my year of community work with RENEW organization, I served the organization not only as a workshop facilitator but also as a host to international volunteers. In this capacity, I organized tours and guided them during their visits to Tanzania (Arusha and Zanzibar) and then is when my passion started.

I guide tours all over Tanzania, but my hometown Arusha has special places surrounded by so many historic ancient sights and such beautiful scenery.
My areas of expertise include cultural history, nature, art, hiking, cooking and photography.
In addition to introducing my guests to world-famous historical sites of Arusha as a passionate guide, I do special walking tours and hop-on-hop-off urban discoveries where I take my guests to undiscovered neighbourhoods, historical areas, streets, restaurants and brings them along on a treasure hunt of art and music in Arusha.

I am fluent in Swahili and possess a very good command of the English language.
Now my main career objective is to play a more significant role in promoting Tanzania specifically through tourism, by utilizing my vast experience and knowledge.

Being flexible, having fun and making sure that my guest gets the most from their vacation is my primary focus and goal.
