I’m planning a trip to Australia for about ten days. I’d like to start by spending a few days in Sydney—seeing the Opera House and exploring the harbor—before heading to the coast to relax. After that, I’ll fly to Cairns to go snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and visit the rainforest. I’ll leave the rest of the time open to play it by ear—enjoying local food and taking photos—since I don’t want to spend every day rushing from one tourist spot to the next.

I’d also spend a few days in Sydney, strolling along the harbor and enjoying a meal at a restaurant with an ocean view—that sounds like a truly delightful experience.

Things I want to do: What I’d most like to try is snorkeling to see the underwater coral and schools of fish, and I also want to see kangaroos and koalas in person. Then, I’d like to set aside a day with no plans—just strolling by the seaside, having a coffee, and leisurely whiling away the time until sunset.
